Beyond the Classroom

Exploring the Metaverse as an educational space — navigating virtual environments and accessing shared platforms.

When exploring a Spatial metaverse environment on the web, you control your avatar using a combination of keyboard keys and mouse movements. There are three camera modes to choose from, depending on your preference.

Camera Modes

Auto Rotate

The camera automatically stays behind and follows your avatar as you move. Great for beginners.

Drag to Rotate

Click and hold your mouse, then drag left or right to change the direction you're looking.

Pointer Lock

Locks your mouse to the avatar's point of view — similar to a first-person game feel.

Mouse tip: In Drag to Rotate mode, click and hold anywhere on the screen and drag to look around. In Pointer Lock mode, simply move your mouse to look around — click once to lock your cursor.
